Location: Manuka, Canberra Employment Type: Full-time, permanent Salary Range: $118,011 - $127,013 + Superannuation (based on skills and experience) Position number: #499439 Start Date: Term 4, 2022 Closing Date: 11.55pm, Wednesday 19 October 2022 Catholic Education, Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn (CECG) plays an integral role in education both in the ACT and NSW operating 56 Catholic Systemic Schools and eight Early Learning Centres. About the Role The role will be responsible for ensuring the successful and sustainable implementation of school virtual learning opportunities for students, including the strategic growth, quality assurance, professional development, and operational aspects of virtual learning program delivery. Key responsibilities <ul> <li>Ensure quality delivery and successful outcomes in Virtual learning</li> <li>Lead the strategic development of existing and future virtual learning opportunities for the system, including consultation of global best practices, research, and key stakeholders.</li> <li>Foster connections between schools for collaborative conversations and improvement, including engaging with Principals, leadership teams and high performing teachers </li> </ul> Essential Criteria <ul> <li>Successful leadership experience in supporting curriculum, literacy and numeracy development at university, system or school setting.</li> <li>Ability to work in an intensive way in a school environment to support the improvement of curriculum, pedagogy and assessment.</li> <li>Ability to work in an agile environment, meeting the evolving needs of the system and schools.</li> <li>Experience in implementing initiatives to promote student outcomes.</li> <li>Digital experience and/or experience with virtual learning.</li> <li>Competency in facilitation, professional development, interpersonal and communication skills.</li> <li>Sound knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and the NSW Syllabus for the Australian Curriculum.</li> <li>Capacity to contribute to and facilitate effective collaboration at CE, Archdiocesan and Government levels.</li> <li>Current ACT or NSW driver’s licence.</li> <li>Bachelor Education degree with teaching experience required, with school leadership experience (Post graduate study is desired with a recommendation for continued study in the role).</li> <li>Archdiocesan, ACT and NSW accreditation in accordance with TQI, NESA and system requirements.</li> </ul> Benefits and Opportunities <ul type="disc"> <li>Attractive remuneration package with access to salary packaging</li> <li>Ongoing professional development opportunities & study discounts</li> <li>On-site parking options & travel allowances available</li> </ul> Please refer to the position description for an in-depth detail regarding position duties, criteria and skill set required.
