The directorate of Learning works in partnership with school leadership teams. The role of the Teaching Educator is to support school leadership teams and teachers to transform learning for all students.

Focusing on learning across Primary and Secondary schools the successful individuals will be accountable for providing support to school leadership teams and teachers to bring the new curriculum to life for all students. More specifically you will:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Provide resources and support to school leadership teams and teachers in the transformation of learning and teaching in schools;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Develop, design and deliver professional learning in-situ and system wide;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Promote and implement Learning priorities and initiatives in line with system strategy and evidence-based learning programs;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Apply specialist pedagogical and discipline knowledge in learning;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Build teacher capabilities in contemporary learning and teaching practices.</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the core purpose and values of the Catholid Education Diocese of Parramatta, along with:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Tertiary Qualification in Education;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Statements of Service;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Deep knowledge of the NSW curriculum and an ability to bring it to life for each student using a variety of teaching techniques;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Strong pedagogical knowledge to influence and inspire the learning of colleagues;</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">A commitment to work with and within a contemporary collaborative team environment, and incorporate collaborative approaches to student learning;&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">A passion for transformational education, integrated into curriculum and delivered in a faith-based environment.</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Interested?</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children.
