With over 5000 passionate employees located across 83 primary and secondary schools, we have the intent and the resources to transform the learning and unlock the full potential of each of our 40,000 plus students.</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About the opportunity:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">We invite applications from suitably qualified teachers who have a well developed capacity to support our teaching team to take forward the mission of Catholic Schools and to ensure high quality education to maximise learning outcomes for all students.&nbsp;More specifically you will:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Structure lessons to meet the physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics of your students&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Create and maintain a safe, inclusive and challenging learning environment and implement fair and equitable behaviour management plans</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Evaluate all aspects of your teaching practice to ensure you are meeting the learning needs of each student</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Interpret and use student assessment data to diagnose barriers to learning and to challenge students to improve their performance</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Effectively manage the learning cycle, including planning for learning and assessment, developing learning programs, teaching, assessing, providing feedback on student learning and reporting to parents/carers</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Engage with our school communities within and beyond the classroom to enrich the educational context for students and work to promote the links between school, home and community in the social and intellectual development of your students</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About you:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Statements of Service&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Interested?</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children.
