As a Leader of Learning you will be responsible to work collaboratively with teachers in leading a high performing Catholic school that is innovative and responsive to the learning needs of each student. You are responsible for delivering high quality contemporary learning and teaching for the community you serve which is embedded in the Catholic world view. It is a collaborative ministry of witness and service and part of the evangelising mission of the Church.

<p><b>Location: </b>St Anthony's Primary School - Girraween</p><p>St. Anthony's is looking for a skilled, contemporary and passionate Leader of Learning to be part of our school community and enrich the lives of our students.</p> <p><strong>Key focus areas</strong></p> <p>The Leader of Learning will fit the following criteria:</p> <p>Meet regularly with teaching teams to lead pedagogy in Literacy, Numeracy and Inquiry&nbsp;</p> <p>Provide in-situ classroom support through co-teaching/ observation and feedback.</p> <p>Meet with the leadership team to implement whole school learning goals which align with the school Collaborative Inquiry Plan.</p> <p>Develop and lead professional learning for staff on items relevant to pedagogy and KLA.</p> <p>Liaise with CEDP teacher educators to implement programs and instructional strategies aimed to improve teaching and learning.</p> <p>Engage in Learning Walks with teaching teams to observe, discuss and inform best pedagogical practice.</p> <p>Lead teachers in the teaching, learning, assessment and reporting cycle.</p> <p>Actively work with parents, students and other staff members regarding curriculum issues such as assessment, reporting, engagement and performance.</p> <p>Analyse data to improve learning outcomes</p> <p>Plan and manage the KLA budgets and resources in an appropriate and equitable manner</p> <p>Maintain compliance and other administrative requirements of the role.</p> <p>Other duties as determined by the Principal to support the needs of the grade/stage.</p> <p><strong>The Organisation</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta provides quality learning and teaching in a faith-centred environment across 83 primary and secondary schools and within early learning and out of school hours care centres in Western Sydney.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment including the completion of a National Police Check, retention of a valid Working with Children Check and adoption and compliance with CEDP’s Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct When Working With Students and Children.</p> <p dir="ltr">CEDP promotes the safety and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, and children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds.
