</u></b></p><p>Rosebank College has a proud and varied history of over 150 years as part of the Good Samaritan family established in 1857, and belonging to the Benedictine spiritual and educational tradition founded by St Benedict in the 4th century. The College belongs to the community of ten schools across Australia called Good Samaritan Education (GSE). </u></b></p><p>A school of Good Samaritan Education, Rosebank College seeks expressions of interest for the position of Events Manager to join the Communications and Engagement Team in this Permanent full-time (1.0FTE) position, 5 days per week (48 weeks per year and on-site).
</p><p>Commencing as soon as possible, and reporting to the Communications and Engagement Manager, the Events Manager will plan, conduct and evaluate a varied portfolio of engagement events on behalf of Rosebank College, including all logistics and communications to support the efficient operation of the event and marketing initiatives.
</p><p>As a member of the Communications and Engagement Team, the Events Manager will be involved in undertaking a high level of Events management and coordination of other College-wide activities promoting successful internal and external relationships. The Events Manager will work closely with the relevant event stakeholders (various departments, staff, and Leadership Team members) to assist in building strong internal relationships as well as relationships with external vendors, including any sponsors and affiliations, to ensure consistency and successful execution of all events on behalf of the College.
</p><p>The Events Manager supports the College Event Committees and other staff responsible for College events to assist in planning, implementing and evaluating College events to ensure quality, consistency and continuity. The Events Manager oversees the timelines, division of responsibility and budgets of events and coordinates promotional plans and material with key stakeholders for upcoming College events / functions. For events not otherwise led by a Committee or staff member, the Events Manager project manages event initiatives, guiding the nominated event team, setting roles and responsibilities, budgets and timelines, chairing event and project meetings and leading all agenda and action items relating to respective events.
</p><p>This role is responsible for ensuring that all College events accurately reflect the core values of Good Samaritan and Benedictine Education and are consistent with the College priorities and strategic intentions.

</p><p><b><u>About You
</u></b></p><p>The successful candidate will be a highly capable and organised support staff member who is highly motivated to support Rosebank College. It is an expectation that all staff support the vision and goals of the College as a learning community and contribute to all aspects of College life.
</p><p>To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
</p><ul><li>Proven experience in a similar role leading and managing events with a minimum of 3 years’ experience (ideally in a secondary school setting);
</li><li>Relevant business administration/events management/marketing communications qualifications (highly desirable);
</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in dealing with management, colleagues and external stakeholders;
</li><li>Has strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to create influence;
</li><li>Ability to work on multiple tasks, including ad-hoc requests;
</li><li>A proven reputation for determination, integrity and strategic thinking;
</li><li>Demonstrate a strong work ethic with a professional, flexible and adaptable approach to a varied and competing workload;
</li><li>The ability to work independently and contribute to the efficiency and organisation of a highly interactive and complex environment;
</li><li>Sound knowledge with high level of computer literacy and demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office, Google platforms, database management, online ticketing systems and general internet use;
</li><li>First Aid qualification;
</li><li>Possess a valid Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one);
</li><li>A commitment to the child safeguarding principles;
</li><li>Willingness to support the Catholic ethos and learning culture of the College.
