<h4>Full Time Replacement Position (Permanent) </h4><h5>Trinity College North - Commencing 2023 </h5><p><br /></p><p>Applications are sought from experienced educators to join a dedicated Junior School team (Early Years to Year 6) at our North School. The successful applicant will have a strong knowledge of primary schooling and be at the forefront of 21st Century pedagogy. In addition the person who fills this position will be recognised as an exemplary teaching practitioner and demonstrate excellence in their own classroom performance. </p><p>This Junior School role has three significant responsibilities to it: </p><ul><li>the mentoring and oversight of staff to ensure that classroom practice and curriculum delivery is of a high quality </li><li>the development of systems and approaches to teaching and learning that will ensure excellence across the Junior School year levels is maintained through effective use of data and assessment information </li><li>support of students, staff and parents through appropriate information collation and dissemination across the year levels. </li></ul><p> <b> To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes: </b></p><ul><li>Suitable tertiary qualifications (a postgraduate qualification in pedagogy, 21st century learning, assessment processes or similar would be an advantage). </li><li>Current registration to teach in South Australia. </li><li>Have an understanding of and commitment to Christian education. </li><li>Have the desire and skills to participate in the school&#39;s pastoral care programme. </li><li>Have the desire and skills to participate in the College&#39;s co-curricular programme. </li><li>Be passionate about understanding how learning occurs and teaching pedagogies suitable for primary aged students. </li><li>Have the interpersonal skills to quickly achieve trust and respect from the teaching team. </li><li>Be able to respond positively to the expectations of a modern school. </li><li>Be able to set high standards for student learning and teacher performance. </li><li>Be able to lead other staff in the use of appropriate information and communication tools in classroom pedagogy. </li><li>Have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people both verbally and in writing. </li><li>Have the knowledge of and a commitment to the principles of equal opportunity and work safety. </li></ul><p>A copy of the role description is located on our website<br /></p><p>Please ensure that you include a <b>covering letter</b> addressing the following criteria: </p><ul><li>Experience and expertise in teaching and education, including what you value in a good education and your leadership style and experience. </li><li>Knowledge of contemporary teaching pedagogy and assessment practices. </li><li>Commitment to and understanding of Christian education. </li><li>Your current CV, including 2 referees and their contact details. </li></ul><p>This leadership position is paid at a POR 3 standard with a 0.2 time allocation for the role.
