Permanent Full-Time Head of PDHPE required from Term 1, 2023!
<div>At present, we are inviting applications for a <b>Permanent Full Time Head of PDHPE,</b> commencing Term 1 2023. Be part of the diverse and friendly team of teachers and support staff at our iconic harbourside campus, where you will be engaged to lead this key faculty.</div><div>

</b></div><div><b>Key outcomes and responsibilities will include:</b></div><ul><li>Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning practice within the faculty consistent with accepted national and state standards</li><li>Sporting responsibilities, including but not limited to coaching and administration/organisation of sporting activities. There is a requirement to work every Saturday as part of the role's ordinary hours.
</li><li>Develop profile of the faculty via interactions with parents, with other staff, and through published materials
</li><li>Promote a culture of excellence within the faculty where all teachers and students are challenged to achieve their best
</li><li>Identify opportunities to connect curriculum outcomes with the Sacred Heart Goals.
</li></ul><div><b> The ideal candidate:</b></div><ul><li>A contemporary, open-minded, and forward-thinking educator
</li><li>Adaptable and open to change and new perspectives
</li><li>Tertiary qualified and accredited to teach in NSW
</li><li>Demonstrated success as a PDHPE Teacher (role has a teaching load)
</li><li>Demonstrated success leading a team
</li><li>Demonstrated success in leading curriculum delivery
</li><li>Able to integrate ICT into teaching and learning
</li><li>A team player with strong organisation skills
</li><li>Personable and outgoing with a flair for effective communication at all levels
