A Science Classroom Teacher is required at St Joseph's East Gosford on a temporary part-time basis to start from 27 January 2023.

The school was established in its present form in 1967 at East Gosford on the Central Coast. The successful candidate will be suitably qualified and enjoy working in a dynamic and cohesive team. This is a temporary part-time role 30.40 hours per fortnight to start from 27 January 2023.<br /> <br /> <strong>Specific Criteria</strong></p> <ul> <li>Highly effective, skilled classroom practitioner committed to the ethos of the Catholic School</li> <li>Demonstrated experience and qualification in teaching Science</li> <li>Capacity to contribute to the school's Continuous Improvement Cycle and is committed to student achievement</li> <li>Proven ability to apply sound pedagogical practices to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the needs of all learners</li> <li>Skilled in analysing and reflecting on student learning data to ensure learning growth for all students;</li> <li>Highly effective in managing and facilitating safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive student welfare practices</li> <li>Willingness to contribute to the broader extracurricular aspects of school life as an active member of the school community</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community.</li> <li>Proficient in the use of technology to enhance student learning</li> </ul> <p>Applicants who are not currently working in a Broken Bay systemic school must have a 4 year training qualification or be enrolled to undertake further study that will provide them with a four year trained qualification to be eligible to apply for any teaching position in the Diocese.<br /> <br /> <strong>New position on COVID-19 vaccinations</strong><br /> Given the current management of risks associated with COVID-19 in the community, and the gradual wind-back of some settings, <strong>CSBB has decided to no longer require all staff to be fully vaccinated</strong>, <strong>effective 19 September 2022</strong>.
