Established in 2011 by the Sisters of the Good Samaritan, the mission of Good Samaritan Education is to sustain and nurture our Catholic schools as Good Samaritan Benedictine communities of learning. </p><p>Catholic education in the Good Samaritan Benedictine tradition is committed to developing students who will engage with today’s world as grounded, hope-filled young people who are equipped to lead wisely, to listen deeply and to treat their neighbour and their environment with justice, love and the compassion of Christ. </p><p>Rosebank College promotes an inclusive, welcoming environment for children and provides transparent, accountable, risk-managed approaches to ensure child safeguarding. </p><p>As a school of Good Samaritan Education, Rosebank College is incorporated and governed by a Board of Directors which is accountable through the Company Members to Good Samaritan Education. </p><p>For further information about Rosebank College, please visit our website: <a href="http://www.rosebank.nsw.edu.au." rel="nofollow">www.rosebank.nsw.edu.au.</a> </p><p><br /></p><p><b><u>About the Role </u></b></p><p>A school of Good Samaritan Education, Rosebank College seeks expressions of interest for the position of Accounting Manager to join the Finance Deanery in Permanent (full-time) position. </p><p>Commencing as soon as possible, and reporting to the Dean of Finance, the Accounting Manager is responsible for leading the operation of a high level of specialist financial management support to the Finance Deanery to ensure the smooth financial management operation of the College. </p><p>The College is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Accounting Manager to support the Payroll and Accounts function. The Accounting Manager holds a leadership role within the Finance Deanery and supports the Dean of Finance in the daily operations of the work of the payroll and accounts team. This is a full-time position. </p><p>This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and professional leader to join the Rosebank Team. This position is hands-on and will allow the right candidate to be exposed to the different functions of the finance department, allowing the successful candidate to contribute to the finance function of the College through the effective operation of the finance department. </p><p>The successful candidate, in undertaking their responsibilities, is required to operate at a high level in a dynamic environment and strive to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with members of the Finance Team, Executive staff, the Administrative Team and staff generally, leading by example. </p><p>The Accounting Manager works both autonomously and collaboratively with Finance staff and a number of external stakeholders. The successful candidate is an effective communicator; is able to manage competing priorities; can exercise initiative to operate with limited direction, and is able to represent the Dean of Finance, Principal and the College to internal and external stakeholders with a spirit of excellence representing the Good Samaritan and Benedictine values at all times. </p><p>The Accounting Manager is a member of the Support Staff Team within the College. It is an expectation that all staff support the vision and goals of the College as a learning community and contribute to all aspects of College life.
