<p><b>2023 DIRECTOR OF PASTORAL CARE, WELLBEING AND TEACHER CAPACITY COACH
</b></p><p> (Full Time position)</p><p>St Joseph's Catholic College Katherine, is seeking an individual that is an experienced Director of Pastoral Care, Wellbeing and Teacher Capacity Coach.
</p><p>This Position of Responsibility attracts both a time and financial allowance and the successful applicant will become an executive member of the College Leadership Team.
</p><p>Applicants applying for the position will join a dynamic team who collaboratively plan and deliver quality Australian Curriculum programs. Visible Learning, Data Driven Practice, Digital Pedagogy, differentiated teaching and Integrated Learning are key features of our Teaching and Learning program.
</b></p><ul><li>Lead a collaborative approach to develop Teacher & Student Wellbeing and Pastoral Services strategies and priorities and translate these into annual plans to deliver a cohesive, school-wide approach to pastoral development and wellbeing service delivery.
</li><li>Collaboratively work with school leaders and staff to ensure the Teacher & Student wellbeing and Pastoral Services strategies are understood and effectively implemented.
</li><li>Consult with School Leaders, and staff to identify needs and opportunities to improve, support and respond to staff and student pastoral and wellbeing needs in the school.
</li><li>Identify and enable professional development, learning and best practice opportunities and develop strategies and processes to build Leadership and staff capacity to respond to contemporary and evolving teacher and student pastoral and wellbeing issues.
</li><li>In conjunction with school leaders, actively create an inclusive, productive and collegiate work environment that remains focused on supporting students, their families and school staff to enable teacher and students to learn and thrive in school
</li><li>In conjunction with School Leaders, develop, implement and continuously improve systems, processes, policies and ways of working to ensure pastoral and student wellbeing needs are being met in the most impactful and efficient way and are compliant with relevant requirements.
</b></p><ul><li>The position requires a commitment to working within the Catholic Ethos
</li><li>Experience in delivering high quality teacher capacity building/professional development
</li><li>Experience supporting school/team culture development
</li><li>Coaching & Leadership training/qualifications
</li><li>Experience in School Leadership
</li><li>Deep understanding of current and evolving teacher & student pastoral care and wellbeing needs
</li><li>Teaching role within a speciality scope
</li><li>Current Ochre Card (or ability to obtain)
</li><li>Northern Territory Teacher Registration (or ability to obtain)
