Holy Cross College is seeking to appoint an energetic, passionate and innovative Leader of Learning for PDHPE to lead a highly successful department with outstanding HSC results. This position will suit an applicant with a strong interest in further developing their leadership capability.

<p><b>Commencement Date:</b>  27 January 2023</p><p>The successful applicant will</p><ul><li>have a sound understanding of and commitment to the ethos of Catholic education and the values of the community of Sydney Catholic Schools.</li><li>have a sound understanding of the learning needs of boys and be able to exploit technologies to enhance learning and teaching.</li><li>have the ability to engage boys in vibrant and engaging programs.</li><li>develop, evaluate and strengthen teaching and learning programs in all PDHPE courses. </li><li>implement an annual review of key results and drawing upon internal and external measures. </li><li>provide sound leadership that seeks to develop the capacity of a highly motivated team. </li><li>have appropriate teaching and tertiary qualifications relevant to the position.<br /></li><li>possess a genuine appreciation for and commitment to pastoral care and be prepared to participate in an active co-curricular program.</li></ul><p>Applicants for this position are asked to ensure the following documentation is submitted by the due date via email to:  <a href="mailto:sharon.gollan&#64;syd.catholic.edu.au" rel="nofollow">sharon.gollan&#64;syd.catholic.edu.au</a></p><p>1.  Letter addressed to the Principal, outlining reasons for your interest in the position.</p><p>2.  A current Curriculum Vitae including experience, qualification, NESA accreditation, Working with Children Check and at least three referees, including the current employer.</p><p>Closing date:  12:00pm Tuesday 11th October 2022</p>
