St Joseph's Primary School Charlestown&nbsp;is seeking a permanent part time School Administrative Officer (12.25 hours per week) to join the team 26 October 2022.<br><br>St Joseph's Primary School, Charlestown aims to provide quality Catholic education by creating a learning community committed to ensuring every child is given the opportunity to achieve their very best within the classroom.<br>The school’s unique lush bush setting provides a stimulating environment for children to learn and play and gives them the opportunity to develop an awareness and appreciation of the environment.<br>The school is purpose-built to facilitate team teaching and gives teachers the opportunity to work collaboratively in their planning and delivery of learning.<br>The recent refurbishment of existing facilities means the school community is equipped with modern and engaging learning environments to allow the delivery of a comprehensive curriculum.<br>The large open plan classrooms are equipped with interactive SMARTboards, iPads, laptops and wireless internet to deliver a contemporary learning approach and help students with learning difficulties.<br><br><br><head3><b>POSITION DESCRIPTION</b></head3><br><br>The School Administrative Officer provides administrative support to school staff and the school principal. Administrative Officers within the Catholic Schools Office, Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle may be classified as either a level 4,5 or 6. Indicative duties for each of these levels can be found under the leadership framework - Administrative Support.&nbsp;<br><br>The Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, preventing those in our care from suffering abuse or neglect, and is committed to being compliant with the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations and the National Catholic Safeguarding Standards.
