<p>Our Lady Help of Christians is seeking a part time teacher (ongoing) to commence the start of 2023 school year for a leadership position. Learning Diversity Leader: 2 days, Student Wellbeing Leader: 1 day.</p><p>As an innovative and integral member of our school community you will: </p><ul><li>Create a nurturing learning environment which is learner-centered, safe, supportive, respectful and aligned with relevant curriculum, policies and practices </li><li>Lead and collaborate with peers to develop and implement a quality program with an appropriate contemporary pedagogy </li><li>Demonstrate the ability to gather and analyse data to inform and drive learning and teaching </li><li>Assess, provide feedback and report on student learning </li><li>Work as a member of the school leadership team to contribute to the professional life of the school community </li><li>Proactively lead and engage professional learning to enhance student learning and wellbeing outcomes </li><li>Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.</li><li>Lead and implement NCCD requirements and practices to ensure effective student outcomes.</li></ul><p>To be successful in this role you will bring contemporary teaching practices as well as: </p><ul><li>A clear understanding of the Victorian Curriculum </li><li>Commitment to child safety </li><li>Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Proven organisational skills including thorough documentation </li><li>Commitment and experience to support a range of student abilities within an inclusive learning environment </li><li>Commitment to engage with colleagues, students and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes </li><li>Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement</li><li>Preferably, experience with effective practices and processes relating to the relevant roles and implementation of access to NCCD funding and implementation of effective use of strategies and resources related NCCD funding.</li></ul><p>Applicants are required to: </p><ul><li>Have accreditation to teach in a Catholic school (or demonstrate a willingness to work towards such accreditation) </li><li>Hold a current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration </li><li>Include the names and details of three referees in your application </li></ul><p>This school community promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
