<div>             Applications are invited for the part-time, fixed term position of Education Support Officer at St Ita’s Catholic                           Primary School, for the remainder of Term 4, 2022 (commencing October 19th), with a possibility of an ongoing                     position in 2023. </div><ul><li>    be supportive of the Catholic Ethos </li><li>    the Education Support Officer will be responsible for providing physical, emotional and educational support to              students with special needs in various levels throughout the school </li><li>    assist students in specified learning areas and tasks, either individually or in a group </li><li>    attend Program Support Group (PSG) meetings with the teachers and parents </li><li>    liaise regularly with teaching staff with regard to student needs </li><li>    support social interaction and development with children at recess and lunch </li><li>    possess very good interpersonal and organisational skills </li><li>    ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team </li><li>    Working with Children Check </li><li>    Certificate III in Education Support </li><li>    contact details of three referees. </li></ul><p><br /></p><p>This community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.</p>
