<p><strong>Permanent, Full Time</strong></p> <p><b>Immediate Start - negotiation of late starting dates can be facilitated if required </b></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>St Mark&#39;s Coptic Orthodox College</strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>St. Mark’s is a high achieving K-12 co-educational College, based on the Gospel values of the Coptic Orthodox tradition, located at Wattle Grove in South West Sydney.</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>The successful applicant must demonstrate proven and exemplary teaching and learning environments that actively engage their students towards further developing their Mathematics knowledge and skills, uphold the Ethos of the College and actively participate in the Co-curricular life of the College. Applicants must have a demonstrated ability to successfully teach Secondary Mathematics Years 7 - 12.  Stage 6 Mathematics Extensions 1 &amp; 2 experience would be advantageous but not essential.  </p> <p> </p> <p>All candidates are required to show how they have met the following criteria:</p> <p>Selection Criteria</p> <p> </p> <ol><li> <p>Describe how you as a classroom practitioner, can incorporate innovative pedagogy into your teaching of Mathematics.</p> </li><li> <p>Give examples of how you possess a strong knowledge of NESA curriculum, HSC assessment practices and marking processes, including developments with Australian curriculum implementation in NSW</p> </li><li> <p>Briefly outline your experience in inspiring and supporting fellow teachers, and for building a sense of community within a department</p> </li><li> <p>Outline your understanding and obligations of child protection when working within a school</p> </li><li> <p>Give an example of an ongoing commitment to professional learning, including making a contribution to the broader educational community</p> </li></ol> <p><br /><br /></p> <p>You will also need:</p> <ul></ul><p> </p><p></p><ul></ul><p></p><ul><li>a current Working With Children Check approval number.  Applicants must have current NESA Accreditation.</li><li>Applicants must be practicing Christians. </li></ul> <p>To apply:  </p> <p>Applicants are to email their cover letter and CV to the Head of College, ensuring the Selection Criteria has been completed to:  recruit&#64;stmarks.nsw.edu.au by 20th September 2022</p> <p> </p> <p>Please include 3 Referees when sending applications, a Parish Priest or Pastor reference is required.  All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.
