Ability to teach or experience in Stage 5 TAS Electives of Design and Technology, Textiles Technology and/or Food Technology is required. Experience or willingness to teach Stage 6 courses in Textiles and Design, Design and Technology and/or Food Technology is desirable.

<p>St Vincent’s College is a Catholic Day and Boarding school for girls in Years 7 to 12. The College was founded by the Sisters of Charity in 1858, now under the stewardship of the Mary Aikenhead Ministries and fosters creativity, discernment and leadership in the development of students to be courageous women of action.</p><p>The College is seeking to appoint a professional and  enthusiastic teacher qualified to teach TAS subjects across Years 7 to 12 to fill a one year Maternity Leave position. This position would suit a new graduate willing to learn or an experienced teacher.  </p><p>Ability to teach Technology Mandatory is essential. </p><p>Ability to teach or experience in Stage 5 TAS Electives of Design and Technology, Textiles Technology and/or Food Technology is required. </p><p>Experience or willingness to teach a Stage 6 courses in Textiles and Design, Design and Technology and/or Food Technology is desirable. </p><p>The successful applicant will have a commitment to education and to the discipline of Technology. They will demonstrate pleasure in classroom teaching of students across a range of ability levels and the ability to work cooperatively with a committed and enthusiastic department. We are seeking a teacher willing to learn and grow alongside their students and colleagues. </p><p>Key position criteria </p><p>Qualifications for and/or experience as a classroom teacher TAS teacher. </p><p>Specialist skills in one or more Stage 5 TAS elective areas from Textiles Technology, Food Technology and Design and Technology. </p><p>Experience and/or willingness to undertake Stage 6 Teaching in one of these courses. </p><p>Intelligent understanding of the connection between emotional and educational growth and willingness to support shared principles and practices in maintaining safe, inclusive and productive learning environments. </p><p>Experience and or willingness to guide students towards personal, social and technological competence in using Digital Technologies. </p><p>Collaborative teaching and work practices.
