<p>Founded in 2002, St Columba Anglican School is located in the growing and thriving coastal city of Port Macquarie. Situated on 15 hectares of land, students enjoy learning in this picturesque and rich educational environment. St Columba is a strong, well-resourced co-educational ELC to Year 12 independent school of 1200 students. The School operates under the Grafton Anglican Schools Commission Ordinance. </p><p>The School has modern teaching spaces and a beautiful outdoor environment. The concepts of excellence, effectiveness and enterprise are at the heart of planning and decision making to ensure students have opportunities to thrive. Innovation and a focus on preparing students for the future has seen the introduction and embedding of the Deep Learning Framework which empowers students to grow as independent learners equipped with not only with curriculum understanding, but 21st capabilities. The School is known for providing diverse opportunities to cater for the interests and strengths of the students. These opportunities have seen the growth of an excellent performing arts program as well as innovation within TAS. Students are encouraged to live out Christian service through the support of a number of projects both domestically and internationally. </p><p>With the retirement of Mr Terry Muldoon after 16 years of outstanding service to the School community, the School Council seeks a committed Christian who is a future-focused educational leader with the ability to drive vision, execute the continued long-term, strategic development of the School and deliver strong academic, co-curricular, wellbeing and sustainable learning outcomes. The successful candidate will be a leader of learning, able to translate ideas and concepts into action, analyse complex situations and engage others proactively in change and improvement.
