The Head of Learning Enrichment (P-12) is responsible for the leadership and management of the Learning Enrichment Department.

The Position Description is subject to review and modification by the Principal, in response to the strategic direction of the School and the development of the skills and knowledge of the position.</p><p><b>Key Competencies, Skills and/or Experience</b></p><ul><li>Rich current knowledge of international research and best practice in the area of Special Needs Education (support, differentiation, enrichment and extension </li><li>A proven track record as an outstanding classroom teacher and leader of educational teams </li><li>Understanding of and ability to utilise current theory and research to ensure the provision of exceptional educational programs for learning support, differentiation, enrichment and extension 3 </li><li>Strong, proven ability to oversee the maintenance of meticulous records pertaining to students within the Learning Enrichment program </li><li>Experience and knowledge of the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data process and relevant legislation </li><li>Experience in successful classroom teaching practice </li><li>Experience working with students who have a learning difficulty or disability </li><li>Professional and personal integrity </li><li>Being flexible and open to change </li><li>Being proactive and innovative </li><li>Enthusiasm for a team environment </li><li>Possess effective communication skills and relate well with all students, teachers, and support staff </li><li>Able to work to deadlines while maintaining a standard of excellence.</li></ul><p><b>Essential Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Relevant tertiary degree and teaching qualifications with postgraduate specialisation in Special Education would be highly regarded </li><li>Knowledge of all relevant legislative requirements and opportunities </li><li>Accredited with NESA</li></ul><p><b>Workplace Health and Safety</b></p><p>All Danebank staff have a responsibility to comply with the School’s WHS policies, procedures and practices and contribute to a healthy and safe workplace culture.</p><p><b>Child Protection</b></p><p>All Danebank staff are required to comply with applicable child protection legislation and are responsible for ensuring that the School’s Child Safe policies, procedures and programs are at the forefront of all we do.</p><p><b>Classification</b></p><p>Bands as per MEA 2022 (depending on experience and accreditation)</p><p>Please note</p><p>Applicants must have the right to work in Australia. </p><p>Do not apply through this website.
