<p><i>Christ the Priest (CtP) Catholic Primary School is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.</i></p><p><b>Duties and Responsbilities</b></p><p><i>The Maintenance Officer/Grounds Keeper will be required to undertake the following duties and responsibilities:</i></p><p>Minor maintenance and repairs to school buildings, fixtures and fittings and grounds. </p><p>Receive and act upon maintenance requests.</p><p>Coordinate regular and as-needed maintenance repairs and checks.</p><p>Regular inspections of grounds, plant &amp; equipment.</p><p>Provide advice and recommendations on projects relating to maintenance, renovations and improvements of the buildings.</p><p>Maintain and carry out the school&#39;s maintenance schedule.</p><p>Adhere to OHS requirements.</p><p>Communicate maintenance issues and concerns with a member of the school leadership team.</p><p>Assist with the setting up of school events.</p><p>Maintenance of school grounds including, but not limited to garden beds, lawns, paths, trees, soft-fall and sand.</p><p>Other duties through consultation with the Principal.</p><p><b>It is anticipated that the Maintenance Officer/Grounds Keeper would have or obtain, the following: </b></p><p>Current Full Victorian Drivers Licence.</p><p>Must have a valid Working with Children Check or be able to obtain one. </p><p>Be proactive, well organised and able to work to a standard without direct supervision.</p>
