St John's Footscray is seeking a highly motivated, positive, friendly and enthusiastic lead teacher to join our professional learning community. The successful applicant will be released 4 days a week for this leadership role. This role will be an ongoing teacher position at St John&#39;s with a two year appointment as Learning Diversity Leader commencing on 27th January 2023.</p><p>Applicants looking for full time employment may like to indicate their interest for the Faith Leadership role we also have advertised for 1 day per week. Please refer to job advertised for Faith Leader/Classroom Teacher for more information.</p><p> Special Requirements </p><p>- a commitment to, and a respect for the Catholic identity of the school</p><p> </p><p>- knowledge of how Catholic life is lived out at the school, e.g. prayer, sacraments, parish life, etc </p><p>- accreditation to teach in a Catholic school </p><p>- a commitment to inclusive education and the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care</p><p>- an ability to lead, collaborate and actively contribute in a team focused environment </p><p>- expertise in the implementation of contemporary teaching and learning strategies in Literacy, Numeracy and personalised inquiry learning (Project based and Play based learning) </p><p>- understanding of Berry Street wellbeing for learning model a benefit </p><p>- expertise in and practical understanding of differentiated learning whereby all students within a classroom can learn effectively, regardless of differences in ability </p><p>- a passion for building strong partnerships between our families and school</p><p> </p><p>- efficient and effective communication strategies and a strong understanding of the processes required for NCCD evidence collection and submission.</p><p>- a willingness to be open and responsive to new learning.</p><p>Please email applications the Principal:</p><p>Emily Conroy</p><p>econroy&#64;sfatarneit.catholic.edu.au</p>
