An Acting Religious Education Coordinator is needed at Our Lady of Perpetual succour Catholic Primary School, West Pymble on a temporary full-time basis for the whole of 2023 school year.

<p>Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Catholic Primary School, West Pymble is currently seeking a passionate and innovative <b>Acting Religious Education Coordinator</b>. </p><p>This is a <b>temporary, full-time</b> opportunity to <b>commence in Term 1 2023 until the end of the 2023 school year</b>. </p><p>This role shares with the Principal and Assistant Principal the responsibility of spiritual leadership, the development of a faith community and ensuring Catholic perspectives across the curriculum. The school is situated in Sydney. </p><p><b>Specific Criteria </b></p><ul><li>A practising Catholic who is able to lead the school community in faith, and build and sustain a culture of faith and learning that is Christ centred</li><li>Able to effectively lead others in developing knowledge and understanding of the Religious Education curriculum</li><li>Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, staff, the parish team and wider community</li><li>Demonstrates knowledge and insight when developing and co-ordinating creative liturgy and Social Justice initiatives</li><li>A qualified and highly competent classroom teacher who demonstrates contemporary pedagogy, embraces the Teaching Standards, maximises learning growth and who engages students to love learning</li><li>Effective in managing and facilitating safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive student welfare practices</li><li>Works collaboratively and contributes positively as a member of the leadership team</li></ul><p><b>About us, our Vision and our Towards 2025 Strategy </b></p><p>Our Vision is to provide ‘authentic, professional Catholic education, delivered with care and compassion’.
