<p>OneSchool Global is one of the world’s largest, truly global schools, with over 9000 students, 125 campuses and 2000 staff operating across 20 countries. </p><p>Based at our welcoming Brisbane Campus we have an opportunity for a Head of Department (Business) to join our wonderful team, commencing Term 1, 2023. </p><p>This position reports directly to the Director of Studies and Campus Principal and is responsible for overseeing the faculty for Accounting, Legal Studies and Business subjects, across our four campuses in Queensland (Brisbane, Nambour, Darling Downs and Wide Bay). </p><p>Key accountabilities: </p><ul><li>Leadership and coordination of approximately 4 staff members </li><li>The ability to teach Accounting (General) and junior Business. </li><li>Preparing and creating the junior Business work programs and assessment </li><li>Preparation, moderation and marking of assessment items. </li><li>Contribution to the preparation of reports and student submissions. </li><li>Facilitation of team meetings and ensuring deadlines are met and the subject course delivery goals are achieved. </li><li>Delegate appropriate responsibility to others within the subject area i.e., program writing. </li><li>Encourage dynamic curriculum development which aims to improve student learning outcomes. </li><li>Manage QCAA subject requirements. </li><li>Use data to inform practice and differentiation. </li><li>Use and encourage engaging and relevant pedagogy. </li><li>Establish curriculum priorities, whole school and subject specific, and develop strategies for their implementation. </li></ul><p><b>About you </b></p><p>You will have previous experience in a leadership role and experience teaching these subjects up to Year 12.
