Primary Teacher

We are seeking passionate, innovative, energetic and agile teachers to join our school community, beginning at the start of the 2023 school year. There are 5 classroom teaching positions with ongoing and 12-month positions available. Senior leadership opportunities are also available. Applications are invited from all levels of experience.

You will be joining a dynamic team of teachers committed to innovative evidence-based approaches to curriculum endeavours. </p><p><b><u>Success Criteria:</u></b></p><p><b><i>The successful applicant will demonstrate: </i></b></p><p>• commitment to the Catholic Ethos, the principles of Catholic teaching and living the school’s vision.</p><p>• capacity to promote and enact contemporary &amp; innovative pedagogies and practices </p><p>• ability to leverage digital technology into all aspects of the curriculum and provide authentic learning opportunities within a contemporary environment. </p><p>• a high standard of competency and proficiency as a classroom teacher, including the administrative facets of the role and proven classroom management skills.</p><p>• commitment to working collaboratively and effectively in a team. </p><p>• enthusiasm to be part of a school with a focus on building community.</p><p> </p><p><b><u>You will have: </u></b></p><p>• a tertiary qualification in Education </p><p>• current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching </p><p>• hold accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic Primary School is desirable; a commitment to obtain accreditation may be considered</p><p>• the willingness to adhere to St Mary&#39;s School&#39;s Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct and other policies relevant to Ministerial Order 1359</p>
