Expressions of interest are open for enthusiastic and passionate Learn to Swim Instructors to join our team on a casual basis.

<h4>The roles </h4><p>With over 1,200 bookings per week, our Learn to Swim program is rapidly growing and to meet the demand, we are opening our expressions of interest to add to our community of passionate Learn to Swim Instructors, with casual shifts available between 9.00am-12.00pm and 3.00pm - 6.30pm Mondays to Fridays, with Saturday shifts from 8.00am-12.00pm. </p><p>As either an experienced Learn to Swim Instructor, or someone looking to train and step into a role, you’re able to have flexibility in hours and shifts to suit your needs. Training through Swim Australia is available for those looking to become qualified and you will be able to complete your practical hours here at Pymble Swimming under the guidance of our experienced instructors. Our team will support you to ensure you have the abilities and confidence required you to promote water safety, deliver our lesson plans and encourage swimming as an essential life-skill. </p><p>With a strong connection with each student, our classes range from 6 months of age through to school aged children, for both Pymble students and the public. You will be supported in your success through an established program that provides lesson plans and proven methodologies to achieve key competencies and to ensure that our swimmers reach their personal goals. </p><p>Your own development will also be a focus, with career progression and future succession through to supervisory roles possible for those who excel and are driven to take their career to the next level. </p><h4><br /></h4><h4>Your kind of benefits </h4><p>Our hourly rate for instructors is $34.33 per hour, plus superannuation and loading. Penalties and overtime are available where applicable. </p><p>We offer a range of other benefits, including: </p><ul><li>mentoring groups and professional development support </li><li>your own access to our Aquatic and Fitness Centre, with free Yoga and Pilates classes </li><li>easy access with close public transport and onsite or nearby (street) parking. </li></ul><p>We also provide a wide range of opportunities for Pymble people to grow personally and professionally, including through growth strategies, training and professional development, career progression, access to technology and resources, and health and wellbeing opportunities. </p><h4><br /></h4><h4>Our kind of team member </h4><p>You will have: </p><ul><li>A willingness to support the ethos and values of the College. </li><li>Current Swim Australia Teacher or AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety certification, or willingness to undergo the training program. </li><li>Current Teacher of Infants and Preschool Aquatics, or willingness to undergo the training, for instructors specific to our Preschool program. </li><li>Current CPR qualifications, or willingness to obtain. </li><li>Previous experience in aquatic education or the aquatic industry is desirable. </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement. </li></ul><h4><br /></h4><h4>Your kind of workplace </h4><p>Pymble people are at the heart of what the College offers its students.
