<p>We are advertising teaching positions beginning in 2023 to work with an incredible team of teachers and Learning Support Officers to design an engaging curriculum to generate the personal, spiritual, emotional and academic growth of the children in our school community. The positions we are advertising have the possibility of permanent/ongoing for the right candidate, and we also encourage graduates to apply. In short we want the best applicant to become part of our extraordinary school. </p><p>St Mary’s is an amazing school where you can’t help but become connected with the families. We work hard to make sure that every child has every opportunity to achieve success, and we love to celebrate those successes too! </p><p>The successful applicant will be required to: </p><p>• demonstrate a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children in accordance with Child Safe standards </p><p>• foster and develop appropriate professional relationships with students, staff, parents, and the wider school community </p><p>• collaboratively plan and work in a team with flexibility, creativity, passion and enthusiasm </p><p>• view themselves as a lifelong learner, which they foster in all students </p><p>• display initiative and commitment to ongoing improvement </p><p>• have a sound knowledge of contemporary learning, with a particular emphasis on the Victorian Curriculum through an inquiry approach </p><p>• assess and report against the Victorian Curriculum to demonstrate student improvement </p><p>• gather, analyse and use data (formal and informal) to improve teacher practice, pedagogy and student outcomes </p><p>• have a commitment to pursuing and maintaining their professional knowledge and skills in the areas of teaching and learning and student wellbeing </p><p>• have a sound understanding and confidently incorporate the Digital Technologies curriculum to engage students in their learning </p><p>• be adaptable and have the ability to use the Google Platform </p><p>• have an understanding, commitment, and support for the values and ethos of the Catholic school and the mission of the Catholic Church </p><p>• be accredited to teach in a Catholic school or have a willingness to achieve accreditation to teach Religion in a Catholic school preferred; </p><p>• Have a current VIT membership </p><p>We look forward to hearing from you! </p><p><br /></p>
