<p>The position is a par-time, fixed term contract, with the possibility of an ongoing contract in 2024 and will begin at the commencement of the 2023 school year. </p><p>An exciting opportunity awaits all interested applicants. St Monica’s Footscray is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic Physical Education teacher to join our school as we are committed to reimagining our provision and implementation of our PE and Health curriculum. Applicants will possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience embracing our collaborative approach to teaching and learning.</p><p>The position is 0.6 FTE due to school circumstances. The primary focus of the role is the dynamic planning and teaching of Physical Education and Health lessons for Prep to Year 6 classes and the coordination of school programs and community events (including but not limited to organising a school sports/athletics carnival and facilitating St Monica’s position in an Inter-school Sport competition). This teaching position may also also include an additional day as a classroom replacement for 1 day each week on a specified day. </p><p>Experienced teachers of Physical &amp; Sport Education or Graduate teachers with appropriate degrees in Physical and Sports Education are both welcome to apply.
