<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">We are seeking a passionate, inspirational teacher to cover one of our classes for term 4 on a contract from 17 October 2022 – Jan 27 2023, with the possibility of a yearlong contract in 2023.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Aspect are leaders in education for children on the autism spectrum. Working at Aspect means you will be supported by a team of passionate professional educators. You will also have an opportunity to work in a learning environment that tailors to the individual needs of students through evidence informed best practice in autism. Class sizes are small and you always have the assistance of a dedicated student support officer (SSO). You will learn about the ACA which is Aspects comprehensive approach to the way we support people. You will work closely in a team that includes the student, family, teacher aide and other professionals such as our school psychologist, speech therapists and occupational therapists to develop and deliver quality learning programs. This wrap-around multi-disciplinary approach to support means that you will gain new skills and work experience that can help you reach your professional goals.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Aspect Treetop School provides placement for up to 72 students on the autism spectrum. The school caters for all abilities across the spectrum for students from Reception to Year 10. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">This is a term contract to cover a leave of absence for Term 4, 2022. </span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Recognised University or Tertiary teaching qualifications (as determined by the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia)</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Special Education qualification/s are preferred</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience working with students on the autism spectrum or other intellectual disability</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Current South Australian Working With Children Check </span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Responding to Risks of Harm Abuse and Neglect - Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) training certificate</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Valid South Australian Driver's Licence</span></li>
<li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">You may be required to provide an International Police Check clearance</span></li>
