This role will be a multi campus role, with working days spread across both our Werribee and Melton campus and will commence in January 2023. </p><p>Learning Enhancement Positions are integral to the College’s Learning and Teaching Program, and the successful candidate will lead a dynamic team that provides support and extension programs for our Prep to Year 10 students. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities: </b></p><ul><li>Oversee the Learning Enhancement Programs, delivered in a variety of flexible formats including withdrawal, small group work and in-class support. The College has developed many current and research-based programs, that have standardised measurements to measure entry levels and growth. The Learning Enhancement programs will assist students learning needs in the following areas: </li></ul><p>o Literacy Support </p><p>o Literacy Extension </p><p>o Numeracy Support </p><p>o Numeracy Extension </p><ul><li>Provide Support, guidance and assistance to the Learning Enhancement Team, ensuring they are appropriately briefed and provide support for teachers in relation to the requirements of students with additional needs, including being a reference point as teachers plan and prepare Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)</li><li>Oversee referrals and administer screening tool assessments.</li><li>Oversee the identification process of student access to programs.</li><li>Assist with annual transition of students with additional learning needs to the following year level.</li><li>Keep thorough, professional, confidential records of planning, meetings and reports.</li><li>For more information, please click here for a detailed Position Description</li><li>The successful candidate must have: </li><li>A master’s degree in special education or Degree in Special Education Degree along with 10 &#43; years of experience in similar position/s. </li><li>High level communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>A mindset to utilise technology for the purpose of teaching effectively, updating systems, reporting, student feedback and academic progress. </li><li>Demonstrate the ability to create a positive student culture for deep learning and teaching </li><li>A commitment to Christian Education and the College’s Ethos, as presented in the College’s Theological Statement </li><li>Adhere to College policies, procedures, and practices.</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
