The Oxley College Sports Programme sits across K-12 and aims to encourage each individual student to develop a full range of personal and team-based skills. We are seeking expressions of interest applications for our summer sport programme and from qualified umpires to officiate at home games.

<p>Oxley College is a well-established independent, co-educational, non-denominational K-12 day school in the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW with 880 students. </p><p> </p><p>At Oxley we have a fundamental belief in the education of the whole child. Students are encouraged to enjoy their learning and to apply it to their understanding of the world in all its complexity and of their individual place within it.<br /></p><p>Further information about the College and its programmes can be located on our website.<br /></p><p><b>Sports Coaches and Umpires</b></p><p>The aim is to support developing and improving physical skills, decision making abilities and positive sporting behaviours of our students to enable them to successfully compete within school-based competitions and beyond.<br /></p><p>The Sports Coach and Umpire positions are paid at competitive rates in line with qualifications, experience and the demands of each role. </p><ul><li>New coaches and volunteers are encouraged to apply. </li><li> Our needs are subject to seasonal sporting demands. </li><li> Desirable experience speciality areas are Cricket, Basketball, Softball and Touch Football. </li></ul><p>Training is held on select days after school between 3.30pm and 5.00pm with some fixtures played mid-week and most games on Saturdays. The ISA Summer Season will run from October to April 2023.</p><p>The ideal role-holder will have:</p><p> </p><ul><li>Demonstrated experience in coaching in a school or club setting.<br /></li><li>Relevant fitness and/or coaching qualifications (highly regarded) </li><li>A background and a passion for sport (coaching or competing) </li><li>A professional presentation and commitment to punctuality and reliability. </li><li>Well-developed communication skills. </li><li>A current CPR and First Aid qualifications.</li></ul><p>For more detailed information about these opportunities on offer, please contact Oxley College Sport Department on (02) 4861 1366.</p><p> </p><p> </p>
