Further information about Maranatha Christian School is available on our website https://www.maranatha.vic.edu.au/. </p><p>ABOUT THE POSITION </p><p>Maranatha Christian School is looking for an experienced, aspirational, professional educational leader to join the team with a view to grow in their role. The role offered is in a middle management position as Head of Junior, or Middle, or Senior School and reporting to the Head of Campus, however there is a potential career pathway into senior executive leadership for the right candidate. </p><p>The Head of School will be responsible for all aspects of effective daily operation and development of a section of the school. They will contribute strongly as a key stakeholder of the school’s strategic plan and objectives in areas such as: building culture; being a role model for the ethos of the school; and delivery of outstanding pastoral care to students. </p><p>Maranatha has two beautifully established campuses with contemporary facilities and excellent potential for future leadership growth. These are exciting prospects which requires the right person to oversee and drive initiatives and build a strong focus on excellence. </p><p>Responsibilities include end to end sub school leadership and management - students, families, staff, budgets, programs, curriculum, wellbeing, administration etc, as well as a suitable teaching load. </p><p>The ideal candidate will also make significant contribution to the senior leadership team and provide intentional leadership development for staff. </p><p>This is a full-time role available from the start of 2023. It is an opportunity for an outstanding, experienced and passionate teacher with principal class aspirations, to further their career within a key area of the school and become an important part of the future of the school. </p><p>ABOUT THE PERSON </p><p>The successful candidate will be a dedicated professional with a history of leading in a school environment. They should have a background of educational excellence and a passion to see the school achieve the potential it has as a Christian educational destination. </p><p>The school is enthusiastically faithful to its charter of personally owned Christian faith and values.
