Marist College is seeking to appoint a dynamic and experienced leader with a strong commitment to boys’ education to the new position of Assistant Head of School – Wellbeing and Engagement commencing Term 1, 2023. This role fosters an exceptional and thriving learning community and provides strategic direction and leadership to a large and vibrant College Community.

<p>Marist College is a Congregational Catholic school for boys (Year 4-12) operating as part of ‘Marist Schools Australia’. It has an enrolment of approximately 1750 students, and enjoys an excellent reputation for its pastoral care of students, academic studies, cultural and sport pursuits.</p><p> </p><p>The <b>Assistant Head of School – Wellbeing and Engagement</b> has a strong commitment to boys’ education and provides leadership across wellbeing and enrichment at the College. This role fosters an exceptional and thriving learning community and provides strategic direction and leadership to a large and vibrant College Community. </p><p>The Assistant Head of School – Wellbeing and Engagement will report to the Deputy Headmaster and be a member of the Marist College Executive team. He/she will work collaboratively with the Deputy Headmaster, Head of Student Wellbeing (Junior and Senior), College Counsellors, Studies Team, and House Deans to establish whole school strategies for student growth and positive school engagement. They will work assiduously to provide oversight of exceptional and bespoke wellbeing initiatives and programs, structures, processes and procedures within the College. </p><p>The Assistant Head of School – Wellbeing and Engagement will be an exceptional educational leader with a passion for positive student learning outcomes. He/she will have leadership experience as well as appropriate qualifications, be an excellent communicator and team player with strong interpersonal skills.</p><p>Please refer to the Position Description (AHS - Wellbeing and Engagement) for full details.</p>
