Golden Grove Lutheran Primary School is seeking dynamic and passionate individuals for our pool of casual teacher aides and reception/administration staff to join our warm and committed staff team.

<p>An opportunity has become available for dedicated and enthusiastic teacher aides and reception/administration staff with a passion for children and learning to join our pool of casual Lutheran School Officers at Golden Grove Lutheran Primary School - one of Adelaide&#39;s leading independent schools. The successful applicants will work within a supportive team in an outstanding, vibrant school committed to inspiring and developing students’ spiritual, academic, emotional and social potential through our values of &#39;Believe, Collaborate, Achieve&#39;.</p><p><br /></p><p>The role of the <b>Lutheran Schools Officer: Reception</b> is to provide assistance to all visitors, students, staff and families of the school. This includes but is not limited to: </p><ul><li>first point of contact to support students and families with enquiries in the school office; </li><li>first point of contact to assist with accidents and injuries; </li><li>maintain office and medical supplies; </li><li>support for school sports teams including medical and contact information; </li><li>general tasks such as printing, photocopying, mail, and class trays </li><li>monitor student attendance including late arrivals and early departures;<br /></li><li>maintain clear lines of communication within the administration staff team; </li><li>maintain a cooperative and collaborative working relationship with other staff; and </li><li>other duties as deemed appropriate for the role.</li></ul><p>The role of the <b>Lutheran Schools Officer: Teaching Support</b> is to provide assistance for teachers in preparing delivering classroom lessons and supporting students with their learning, both individually and in small groups. This includes but is not limited to:</p><ul><li>Assisting with the students with individual learning needs </li><li>To assist in implementing adjustments to the Teaching program </li><li>Work with small groups or individuals in the classroom, as coordinated by the class teacher in conjunction with the PYP Co-ordinator and Deputy Principal</li><li>Prepare and work with individualised teaching materials </li><li>Support students with the implementation and continual monitoring of individualised programs as developed by the class Teacher </li><li>Help the Class Teacher with lesson preparation to allow for increased Teacher instruction time </li><li>Support students with assistive technology </li><li>Address personal care requirements of students</li><li>To provide support to the students as directed by the IEP (Individual Learning Plan) and Teacher </li><li>Participating in School excursions from time to time</li></ul><p>The successful applicant will also be expected to hold a valid working with children check and will also have completed the relevant RAN training, have the capacity to comply with the current and any future vaccination policy of the school as well as ideally holding a first aid certificate. </p><p>Applications should include a resume outlining previous and current experience, qualifications, and areas of strength and interest. The contact details of three referees, one of whom would preferably be a current Church Pastor or Minister, should also be included.
