A new Pre-School to Year 12 Diocesan College in the Edmund Rice Tradition with an enrolment of approximately 1252 pupils.

<p><b>Location:</b> St Francis Catholic College, Edmondson Park</p><p>St Francis Catholic College, Edmondson Park is located near the junction of the M5 and M7 motorways. It is a rapidly growing P-12 school with a student population exceeding 1400 students (K-12) in 2023. The college is one school, not a traditional primary school and high school coexisting on the same site. As such, the College is organised into Junior Years Learning (K-4), Middle Years Learning (5-8), and Senior Years Learning (9-12). St Francis is entering its 6th Stage of Building Development and offers state-of-the-art learning &amp; specialist KLA facilities.&nbsp;</p> <p>Several permanent full time positions commencing 27 January 2023.&nbsp; The successful applicants will be required to teach K-4.&nbsp; The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.</li> <li>Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.</li> <li>Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning across all Key Learning Areas.</li> <li>Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.</li> <li>Implement effective teaching strategies in Literacy and Numeracy.</li> <li>Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.</li> <li>Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers, and the wider school community.</li> </ul> <p>DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA</p> <ul> <li>Willingness to teach Stage 3 if required.</li> </ul> <p>The following GENERAL CAPABILITIES are applicable to the role:</p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Well-developed interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Well-developed oral and written communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li> <li>Strong organisational skills.</li> </ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Appropriate qualifications for teaching Primary K–6.</li> <li>Accredited Level D to teach Religious Education in accordance with <strong>To Work, Teach and Lead</strong> policy or a commitment to gain this level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.</li> <li>The applicant must be accredited with NESA to teach in NSW.</li> </ul> <p>WORKING WITH CHILDREN'S CLEARANCE</p> <p>This role is classified as child-related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.</p> <p>POSITION APPLICATION&nbsp;</p> <p>Applicants are to complete an online application that asks to briefly address the essential criteria (equivalent to 2-3 pages) and submit a short CV (2-3 pages).</p> <p>VACCINATION REQUIREMENT</p> <p>CEDoW recognises the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone in the workplace is central to the mission and success of our schools and offices.
