The Education Officer, Literacy Strategy Implementation role will build on the existing strategic drivers for Improvement in Literacy Learning Outcomes to design a Literacy Strategy incorporating the aspects of curriculum, assessment and pedagogy. The role will lead the creation and organisation of resources to support the implementation of the Literacy Strategy and oversee the implementation of the Literacy Strategy including the coordination of the professional learning and open access online resources.<br> <br> <strong>W</strong><strong><strong>HAT</strong> YOU WILL DO</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide strategic, data informed advice to the manager and team lead on the Literacy priorities of MACS schools</li> <li>Design a Literacy Strategy that drives improvement in Literacy learning outcomes for all students</li> <li>Collaborate with learning consultants in the development, implementation and evaluation of the Literacy Strategy</li> <li>Ensure system-wide, open access learning resources and professional learning programs are designed to realise the Literacy Strategy</li> <li>Undertake research to inform the ongoing evaluation of the Literacy Strategy and its effectiveness in improving learning outcomes for all students</li> <li>Work collaboratively within the School Improvement Framework towards whole school improvement in Literacy</li> <li>Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice/work</li> </ul> <p><strong>ABOUT YOU</strong></p> <ul> <li>You will hold a Post Graduate of further qualification in Education and a current registration the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)</li> <li>A demonstrated understanding of contemporary Literacy curriculum, assessment and pedagogy at a national, state and system level</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to effectively analyse system level data to design a strategic, evidence based approach to Literacy teaching and learning</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to build resources and design professional learning to support schools implement system directions in Literacy</li> <li>Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a capacity to work as a team and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships based on integrity and respect</li> <li>Commitment to and understanding of Catholic Education: commitment to the ethos, values and mission of Catholic Education</li> </ul> <p>Salary for this position is commensurate with experience and ranges from $123,280 - $126,695 per annum, exclusive of superannuation as specified in the <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><a href="http://www.cecv.catholic.edu.au/Media-Files/IR/EB/Proposed-VCEMEA-2018/VCEMEA-2018-web.aspx">Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018</a></span>.<br> <br> <strong>HOW TO APPLY</strong><br> <br> Please refer to the <a href="https://cem.elmotalent.com.au/uploads/cem/files/PDEducation OfficerLiteracyStrategyImplementation.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">position description</a> for further details about the role and the Key Selection Criteria.<br> <br> <a href="https://cem.elmotalent.com.au/careers/careers/job/view/402">Click to Apply now.</a> If you have any queries about this role they can be directed to our HR team by email hrenquiries@macs.vic.edu.au<br> <br> <strong>You will need to provide:</strong><br> <br> 1.
