Catholic Education, Diocese of Wagga Wagga (CEDWW) has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced professional that will Work collaboratively with their Team to support the ongoing provision of a high quality Catholic Education for all students across the Diocese.

<p>Catholic Education, Diocese of Wagga Wagga (CEDWW) assists 29 Catholic Primary and Secondary schools located throughout Regional NSW, to maximise student learning, growth and development.</p><p>CEDWW staff are responsible for providing on-going operational guidance and administrative assistance across the areas of Learning and Teaching, Student Wellbeing and Diverse Learning, Evangelisation and Religious Education, School and System Improvement, Finance and Resources, Information and Communication Technologies and People and Culture services.</p><p>To find out more about the Catholic Education, Diocese of Wagga Wagga, click <a href="https://ww.catholic.edu.au/" rel="nofollow">here</a>.</p><p><b>What we can offer: </b></p><ul><li>$112,002.76 - $151,454.25 (depending on experience and qualifications).</li><li>Full - Time position starting January 2023.</li><li>Three (3) year contract with the option for an additional three (3) years subject to ongoing successful Performance Reviews.</li><li>Located at head office in Wagga Wagga&#39;s CBD.</li><li>Access to Salary Packaging (Maxxia is our Salary Packaging Provider).</li><li>Access to our Employee Assistance Program.</li></ul><p><b>Your new role:</b></p><p>The Education Officer Catholic Evangelisation and Religious Education (Primary) contributes to the development and implementation of an innovative school and System improvement agenda focussed on improving practice in order to improve outcomes for students. effective leadership and management of evangelisation, religious education and faith formation across the schools of the Diocese.</p><p><b> </b></p><p><b>The key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:</b></p><ul><li>Work in collaboration with schools, to develop Catholic identity through evangelisation and implement the diocesan Religious Education curricula </li><li>Assist in the dissemination and implementation of policies and practices designed to facilitate the unique evangelising mission of Catholic schools </li><li>Collaborate,dialogue and participate in building relationships between the Diocese and the Education System. </li><li>Contribute to the implementation of the System Strategic Plan to ensure that System goals and intentions are realised </li><li>Promote and support evidenced-based practices designed to facilitate religious education and pedagogy. </li><li>Contribute to the Evangelisation and Religious Education (ERE) team to ensure coordinated services to schools. </li><li>Promote and deliver appropriate professional development opportunities in the area of religious education, spirituality and faith formation for school and system leaders, teachers, students and staff </li><li>With the ERE Team Oversee the Work Teach Lead accreditation program for of staff at CEDWW. </li><li>Promote and coordinate graduate study opportunities for teachers and leaders in Religious Education and Catholic Leadership </li></ul><p>Position description and annexure to key responsibilities attached.</p><p><b>Qualifications Licences and Competencies </b></p><ul><li>Postgraduate academic qualifications additional to initial teacher training and evidence of personal responsibility for ongoing relevant professional learning </li><li>Accreditation for Leadership in a Catholic School (Category E, Accreditation for Senior Leadership in Catholic Education) or working towards Accreditation. </li><li>Current Driver’s Licence </li><li>Current Working With Children Check </li><li>Current National Criminal History Check.</li></ul><p><b>Skills and Experience </b></p><ul><li>An understanding of and commitment to the ideals of Catholic Education and regularly participate in the sacramental life of the Church. </li><li>Experience in Induction and mentoring of staff in the area of Religious Education </li><li>Experience in Planning and delivering faith formation for staff across varying career stages </li></ul><p><b> What is next?</b><br /></p><p>If you are interested in this position and would like further information, please contact <b>Sandra Harvey</b>, Head of Evangelisation &amp;
