<p>Wadja Wadja High School is a Yr. 7-12 secondary school serving the Indigenous community of Woorabinda approximately 179 kms, southwest of Rockhampton. The student population of Wadja Wadja is 100% Indigenous. Wadja Wadja seeks the services of the following teacher for an immediate start. This has come about because of the need for one our current teachers to relocate interstate for family reasons.  </p><p>Middle School Teacher who is able to teach the core subjects of English, Mathematics, Science, HASS and ICT.<br /></p><p>Wadja Wadja High School seeks the services of a qualified Middle School teacher who can teach the above core subjects to a 7/8/9 cohort of students. The position represents a potentially rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Indigenous students. Therefore experience and an interest in teaching Indigenous students would be highly advantageous. Also experience in teaching EAL/D students would be beneficial. </p><p>The position would also suit Upper Primary Teachers. </p><p> The position is permanent with the normal probationary periods applying. </p><p>A generous above industry standard remuneration package is provided with base salary in the range of 92-140 K depending on teaching experience. In addition to this base salary, a range of other incentives are applicable including bonuses, the Remote Area Incentive Scheme (RAIS) as well as significantly subsidised accommodation. </p><p>This contract is offered in alignment with the Wadja Wadja Aboriginal Corporation for Education Collective Agreement 2022. </p><p><br /></p>
