St John's Riverstone is currently seeking a passionate teacher to join our school community on a full-time temporary basis for Term 4.

The successful person will work with our dynamic Stage 1 Team and have a clear and shared focus on enhancing the learning of all students and staff.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>More specifically you will:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Structure lessons to meet the physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics of your students&nbsp;</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Create and maintain a safe, inclusive and challenging learning environment and implement fair and equitable behaviour management plans</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Evaluate all aspects of your teaching practice to ensure you are meeting the learning needs of each student</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Interpret and use student assessment data to diagnose barriers to learning and to challenge students to improve their performance</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Effectively manage the learning cycle, including planning for learning and assessment, developing learning programs, teaching, assessing, providing feedback on student learning and reporting to parents/carers</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Engage with our school communities within and beyond the classroom to enrich the educational context for students and work to promote the links between school, home and community in the social and intellectual development of your students</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Qualifications and accreditations:</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Statements of Service</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Interested?</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children.
