We're looking for someone who is an exceptional English teacher looking to step into middle leadership as the first leap on their leadership journey. 1 Point Coordinator Allowance Permanent Position Commencing 2023

<p>Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College, Kensington is seeking an innovative, collaborative teacher to join our English Faculty.</p><p>This role is responsible for collaboratively helping to transform learning within the English Faculty, underpinned by a commitment to innovation and the implementation of new pedagogies in practice so that outstanding student outcomes are achieved, consistent with the College’s strategic plan, vision, mission and values.</p><h5>1 Point Coordinator allowance along with a Debating/Public Speaking time allowance.</h5><p><br /></p><p><b>Key Selection Criteria:</b></p><ul><li>Understanding of the Catholic philosophy and Sacred Heart ethos of education and commitment to the values of the school and Catholic Social Teaching.</li><li>At least 3 - 5 years teaching experience in more than one school.</li><li>A future focused outlook, with a willingness to come up with new initiatives to support the growth of our students.</li><li>The ability to take initiative while working collaboratively with others.</li><li>An energetic and enthusiastic approach to work.</li><li>A willingness to be involved in the extra-curricula life of the College.</li><li>High level organisational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritise own workload.</li><li>High level interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.</li><li>Demonstrated initiative and ability to be flexible and adaptable and to work as part of a team.</li><li>Ability to evaluate current practices and liaise effectively with other staff in terms of developing and implementing more efficient and productive processes in a positive manner.</li><li>Experience in using technology within an educational environment.</li></ul><div><br /></div><p><a href="https://olshkensington.syd.catholic.edu.au/" rel="nofollow">Check us out </a></p><p><b><a href="https://forms.gle/ma3Mn3c7FGT578m98" rel="nofollow">Teacher Application Form</a></b></p><p> </p><p> </p>
