An exciting opportunity exists to join the team at Golden Grove Lutheran Primary School, one of Adelaide's leading independent schools. Blessed with a warm and strong sense of community, and a positive working environment, the role encompasses oversight and management of marketing and communications strategy and duties.

<p>The role encompasses the following duties as a broad overview in addition to general administrative duties: </p><p><b>Marketing </b></p><p>• Establish an agreed set of marketing measures to monitor the performance of the key marketing plan initiative </p><p>• Develop and implement annual Communication and Marketing Plans and projects for new and existing business and educational services </p><p>• Report on all marketing activity and results as requested </p><p>• Develop and manage the marketing budget and deliver marketing and communication activities within the agreed budget, consulting with the Principal and Business Manager to identify priorities </p><p>• Provide a high level of support to the planning and coordination of school events associated with promoting the School (i.e. Exhibition, Speech Night, P &amp; F events) as required </p><p>• Ensure a current collection of relevant, edited school event photographs, for use in publications &amp; websites </p><p>• Develop and implement a Fundraising Plan in consultation with the Principal and Business Manager </p><p>• Create, coordinate and manage fundraising events </p><p>• Develop a process for procuring bequests and donations to the School from supporters of the School </p><p>• Make connections with local and other businesses to build meaningful partnerships &amp; promote the School </p><p>• Utilise parent and old scholar data to engage with and connect businesses, and better utilise our natural partnerships to enhance our School&#39;s programmes and place in the community </p><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>Communication </b></p><p>• Build the brand and awareness of the School in the wider community </p><p>• Maintain a constant media presence by preparing media releases, and building media relations to further leverage exposure </p><p>• Manage and maintain the School&#39;s website, ensuring that information is current and accurate, and ensuring application of content marketing strategies </p><p>• Develop a program management schedule to ensure website content is consistent with other communications </p><p>• Develop, manage, and maintain the School&#39;s social media platforms that build community engagement with the School and reflect the School&#39;s key messages and core philosophy, making regular updates to all aspects of the website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other forms of digital media as negotiated under direction of Executive staff; </p><p>• Identify and recommend potential new social media platforms </p><p>• Develop and implement marketing tools as appropriate; </p><p>• Coordinate and oversee the production of all publications, advertising and editorial materials that promote Golden Grove Lutheran Primary School to its community. i.e. current and prospective families, old scholars, the corporate market and general public </p><p>• Coordinate and oversee production of Golden Grove Lutheran Primary School promotional materials </p><p>• Prepare and distribute the school newsletter; </p><p>• Manage communication to the school community via Schoolbag; </p><p>• Ensure appropriate information regarding marketing / events / campaigns are communicated to staff and the Marketing sub-committee of the School Board </p><p>• Review market and industry research and present innovative ideas to help drive growth in website traffic and increase user engagement and interaction </p><p>• Keep electronic records of consent from parents for publication of student images, names and schoolwork and maintain register of forms </p><p>• Liaise with professional photographers and printers as required </p><p><b><br /></b></p><p><b>Reception </b></p><p>• Act as the first contact for all visitors and telephone callers to the school; </p><p>• Handle enquiries from staff, parents and students and deal with accordingly; </p><p>• Manage signing in and out by parents and visitors; </p><p>• Monitoring the school reception area and ensuring all visitors and parents are being adequately attended to by office staff (e.g. involves ensuring tea/coffee/waiting is offered for special guests waiting etc.).  </p><p><b><br /></b></p><p>A knowledge of, or experience with, school software systems is desirable but not essential. </p><p>Please refer to the full role description statement attached. </p><p><i>Golden Grove Lutheran Primary School is committed to being a ‘Child Safe’ school with an expectation that all staff commit to our Child Safe Policy and Child Safe Code of Conduct.
