Covering an expansive geographical area which includes the Central Coast and Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore, Catholic Schools Broken Bay is a system serving 44 Catholic Schools with around 17,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. </p><p><b>The Role </b></p><p>As a member of the Capability and Enablement of Our People Workstream, you will have the responsibility to deliver expectational customer service to our school leaders and employees within Catholic Schools Broken Bay. This is a <b>temporary full-time</b> role for an immediate start <b>until the 21 April 2023</b>. </p><p>The role encompasses operational service delivery across all elements of pre-employment checks (including Working with Children Check and Teacher Accreditation); appointment and new hire set up in PHRIS; onboarding system requirements; and data/contracts management of adjustments to existing employment and staffing arrangements. You will also provide administration assistance for the payroll team. </p><p>There is a significant volume of data input, data checking and contract administration on a day-to-day basis. </p><p><b>Key Responsibilities: </b></p><ul><li>Serves as the first level contact (i.e. triage officer) for the resolution of all requests and queries initiated by school leaders and employees in relation to the administration of new employee set up and position adjustments </li><li>Participates as a collaborative member of the Employee Services and Payroll team to ensure accurate and efficient processing of all new hires and changes to existing employment arrangements for school and CSBB staff </li><li>Provides accurate, timely and quality advice, information and guidance to leaders and staff </li><li>Ensures all new appointment and employment adjustments satisfy legislative or organisational policy requirements </li><li>Manages all onboarding procedures for school and central office staff </li><li>Applies professional judgement to leverage specialist knowledge and skills of subject matters experts within the CEP team to provide high quality advice whilst remaining responsive to the client needs OR escalate matters to senior leaders </li><li>Analyses issues, metrics and trends to identify and manage risk and/or recommend actions </li><li>Administers contracts of employment, maintains HR records and ensures data processed into PHRIS is accurate </li><li>Monitors and maintains the teacher and school support staff casual resource pool </li><li>Liaises with other teams within CEP to ensure process accuracy and efficiency </li><li>Assists in the design, testing and implementation of new PHRIS module functionality as required </li></ul><p><b>Benefits of Working with Us </b></p><p>An attractive salary on offer, onsite parking or public transport within close proximity, hybrid working arrangements, generous leave entitlements and salary packaging. </p><p><b>Application Process</b></p><p>Applications should include: </p><ul><li>A cover letter of no more than two pages addressing why you are interested in the role and addressing each of the Key Requirements listed above; and </li><li>A current resume</li></ul><p>Applications should be sent directly to Jennifer Tiglao via <a href="mailto:jennifer.tiglao&#64;dbb.catholic.edu.au" rel="nofollow">jennifer.tiglao&#64;dbb.catholic.edu.au</a> </p><p><b>Applications Close: Wednesday 10 August 2022 </b></p><p>Agencies, please note that unsolicited resumes will not be accepted for this position.</p><p> </p><p><b>Vaccination Requirements for our Staff </b></p><p><i>Our Covid-19 Vaccination Policy requires that all school staff have received two doses of an approved Covid-19 vaccine or possess a valid contraindication medical certificate.
