<p> </p><p> St. Mary MacKillop Primary School is looking to appoint an experienced, committed, dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Officer (LSO).</p><p>The person we are seeking must be relational and positive in all interactions. They need to be a team player, capable of working with classroom teachers, current LSO staff, and school leaders. They must also be able to work independently and use their initiative. </p><p>Hours are Monday to Friday- 8.30 am -  3.30 pm. Can be negotiated.</p><p>St. Mary MacKillop P.S. aspires to protect all children under their care, prioritising their safety and wellbeing. </p><p><b>The LSO will be expected to:</b></p><p>· work with classroom teachers and School Leaders to plan for and implement programs and strategies, supporting students with learning challenges </p><p>· liaise with classroom teachers and School Leaders </p><p>· efficiently document adjustments relating to student&#39;s Individual Learning Plans </p><p>· attend Parent Support Group meetings as required </p><p>· commit to the school&#39;s Child Safety Policies. </p><p><b>Special Requirements: </b></p><p>· have a Certificate 111 or 1V in Education Support and/or a Diploma of Education Support </p><p>· have a current Working with Children Check </p><p>· have strong communication skills </p><p>· be relational with students, staff and parents </p><p>· be committed to the Catholic ethos.</p>
