<div>Mount St. Joseph College is seeking applications from qualified and experienced Business Managers for this position. </div><div> </div><div><br /></div><div><b>Major Accountabilities: </b></div><p>Provide higher-level business, facilities and financial support to the Principal and College, including ongoing periodic reports highlighting areas for improvement.</p><p>Implement a clear and effective process in the College to aid the Principal in effective operational management.</p><p>Ensure financial records for the school are maintained in line with SCS and current audit policies (specifically in accordance with the Education Act 1990 s83c).</p><p>Provide effective WHS management and coordination of any repairs at the College.<br /></p><p>Ensure effective management of school support and operational staff by assisting the Principal with human resource management, including preparing and maintaining effective role descriptions, ongoing performance management, and accurate performance of hours.</p><p>Coordinate contractors on the school site in accordance with SCS policy.</p><p>SCS Business Manger <a href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_HecmBdt09jgeiEF0GPt6ajch2x9icPnh1rnj5lE8S8/edit?usp&#61;sharing" rel="nofollow">Role description</a>.</p><p><b>Essential Criteria:</b><br /></p><p>A commitment to the mission of Catholic Education and a willingness to actively support and promote the catholic, religious, academic, and pastoral dimensions of College life.</p><ul><li>Post-secondary qualification in Business, Accounting and/or Financial Management.</li><li>Minimum 5 years of financial/business/commercial experience.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to plan, budget, organise and manage maintenance, building and renovation projects to budget and of high quality.</li><li>The ability to be able to demonstrate support for the Catholic ethos.<br /></li><li>A commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to participate in personal and spiritual formation.<br /></li><li>Knowledge of, and experience in, day to day accounting procedures, budgeting, financial management and strategic development in an educational setting.</li><li>Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills in order to relate to a variety of audiences.</li><li>Demonstrated high order organisational, planning, and communication skills.</li><li>Demonstrated high order leadership skills, with the ability to build an effective team to achieve the organisation’s goals.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships with key suppliers and contractors.</li><li>Ability and experience to oversee Work Health &amp; Safety (WHS) legislative requirements. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment and to manage a cohesive support team.</li><li>Possess a high work ethic and committed to excellence.</li><li>Sydney Catholic Schools is committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, students and school communities.
