<p> The successful applicant will:</p><p>• Preferred suitably qualified- Diploma in Library and Information Services but application invited from people who have an understanding of the operation of a college library. </p><p> • Experience in operational and technical aspects of library and information management systems, including a range of software applications </p><p>• Passion and flair in the creation, development and promotion of programs and displays </p><p>• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with students and staff in the College Study and Research Centre </p><p>• Understanding and supporting the Catholic ethos of the College </p><p>• Ability to demonstrate an understanding of current child safe principles </p><p> • Other duties as required such as assisting with reference enquiries, literature searches and assisting staff members in the use of the library’s electronic resources</p><p> • Knowledge and experience of managing AV technologies and software.</p><p>• Demonstrated ability to learn, work independently and manage competing priorities.</p><p>• Proven ability to lead and supervise a high-performance multidisciplinary team.</p><p>• Communicate regularly with teachers to ensure that appropriate support is provided.</p><p>• Create and maintain a positive, caring and organised learning environment that fosters the development of resilience and independence in students.</p><p>• Provide a range of strategies to address students’ individual learning needs.</p><p>•At Patrician Brothers&#39; College Fairfield, we espouse our dual purpose to educate and evangelise in the Catholic tradition.
