We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed educator to teach in a part-time capacity. * commencing Term 3, 2022 * concluding end of Term 4, 2022

<p><b>Essential Criteria: </b></p><ul><li>A firm knowledge and commitment to the Church’s mission in Catholic Education and personal faith practice </li><li>Religious education qualifications according to the requirements of Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS)</li><li>Demonstrated ability in designing and implementing rigorous and engaging learning to meet the diverse needs of students. </li><li>Works collaboratively, evaluates and seeks feedback to continually improve classroom practice </li><li>A firm knowledge and understanding of K - 6 Curriculum, quality authentic learning pedagogy and a demonstrated ability to use formative and summative assessment techniques effectively </li><li>An excellent understanding of the use of data to establish challenging learning goals and provide effective feedback to students </li><li>Excellent classroom management that is proactive in supporting the wellbeing of students </li><li>Demonstrated ability to integrate ICT effectively and creatively to provide authentic learning opportunities within a contemporary environment</li></ul><p><b>You will have attained:</b></p><ul><li>a Tertiary qualification in Education </li><li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) </li><li>employee ID registration number with Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) or a commitment to Register to Teach in SCS.</li></ul><p><b>Working With Children Check (WWCC) </b></p><ul><li>This role is classified as child-related work and therefore requires a WWCC clearance prior to commencement of employment. </li></ul><p><b>COVID-19 Vaccination Evidence </b></p><p>Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) is committed to ensuring the safety of our staff, students and school communities. In line with SCS’ COVID-19 Policy, all staff are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (or subsequent variants) in order to work at or with a school, in central office or at any other location at which work is carried out by SCS.
