The Teacher's Aide provides assistance in the form of support to teachers, individuals and/or groups of students in a classroom setting.

St Anthony’s was founded and led for more than thirty years by the Sisters of Mercy. We build on their foundations by striving to reflect the love of Jesus through the living out of our Mercy Values.</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>About the opportunity:</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">We are looking for a passionate Teacher’s Aide to join St Anthony’s school community. This position is temporary part-time for Term 3, with potential to extend.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">Working days would be Thursdays and Fridays, 9:00am to 1:30pm. Additional casual shifts may be available.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong>You will:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Engage with students, staff and families to build trusting relationships and to understand the needs of students</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Work systemically with schools, families, staff and leaders</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in the delivery of learning initiatives</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Support of the mission, teachings and ethos of the Catholic Church’s work in schools</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Demonstrate the ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr">To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the core purpose and values of St Anthony’s Catholic School along with:</p> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Relevant tertiary qualifications</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Possess appropriate experience</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Working with Children Check clearance</p> </li> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills</p> </li> </ul> <ul> <li dir="ltr" style="list-style-type: disc"> <p dir="ltr">Sound knowledge of and commitment to our Catholic faith and mission in Catholic education.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> </li> </ul> <p dir="ltr"><strong>Interested?</strong></p> <p dir="ltr">This position involves working with children.
