You will be located at Wetherill Park or one of our five secondary satellite host schools. We are looking for&nbsp;an individual who&nbsp;enjoys working collaboratively, has a strong ability to differentiate and cater for the individual’s strengths and interests.&nbsp;&nbsp;We are committed to growing and developing our staff in a supportive environment.&nbsp;&nbsp;Implementing our evidence-informed autism-specific approach - the Aspect Comprehensive Approach [ACA], you’ll teach students the skills to be the very best they can be. You will collaborate with students, family, Teacher’s Aide and other therapy professionals to develop and implement Individual Plans. Our school caters for close to 160 students across the Greater Western regions of Sydney. Our school has a main school site at Wetherill Park which consists of six primary classes and the administration base, as well as eight primary satellite classes and five high school classes which are Aspect run but operated within NSW Department of Education and Catholic Schools.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>What we are looking for:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">NESA registration to teach in NSW</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Special Education qualification/s are preferred</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Secondary teaching qualification highly desirable </span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience working with students on the autism spectrum or&nbsp;an intellectual disability preferred</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">NSW Working With Children Check clearance for paid employment</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">A current driver's license</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>What we offer:&nbsp;</strong>Full time base salary of $78k - $114k (depending on qualifications, accreditation and relevant teaching experience) + allowances + superannuation.
