font-size: 11pt"><strong>Work Experience:&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="color: #000000; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif">This role would suit an Assistant Accountant desiring the next step in their career or a Chartered Accountant seeking their first commercial role.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt"><strong>Key Capabilities:</strong></span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: #000000">Strong technical accounting skills with sound knowledge of GAAP</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: #000000">Desirable if applicants are CA/CPA qualified or working towards</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: #000000">Exposure to Technology One or any large ERP (eg SAP)</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: #000000">3-4 years’ experience in a similar function</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: #000000">Team player with effective verbal communication skills to build ongoing relationships with internal stakeholders and manage client expectations</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: #000000">Adaptability and the drive to follow tasks through to completion both accurately and to required timeframes</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: #000000">Experience with month end reconciliations</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: #000000">Audit experience - preparing schedules</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: #000000">Statutory reporting and FBT exposure</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: #000000">Ideally exposure to education, not for profit sector but this is not essential</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: #000000">Strong excel skills to manage large volume of data</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: #000000">Proven accuracy in data entry, good numeracy skills and the ability to perform reconciliations</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: #000000">Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a small team and with stakeholders at the School level</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: #000000">Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: #000000">Willingness to learn and strive towards process improvement</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: #000000">Knowledge of WHS and equity principles in the workplace <br></span></li> <li><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt; color: #000000">Respect for the teachings of the Catholic Church and by conduct and lifestyle, ability to give witness to the Church’s mission.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
