The successful candidate will offer a specialist subject such as STEM, Art, Science, PE / Games, etc. This will be on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. (If STEM, a curriculum and resources are already in place). Lessons will be an hour long and aimed at all classes from Pre-School to Seniors (Year 11/12). On Thursdays and Fridays the successful candidate will provide cover for the Religious Education Coordinator (class / age-group to be confirmed). Every classroom has access to the Internet, PCs, laptops, iPads and SMARTboards (IWBs). English is the second or third language for most students at the school, and the Arrernte language &amp; culture program is a key focus of the curriculum at LACS. Teachers work as members of a team in partnership with local Aboriginal people and Arrernte Assistant Teachers.
