We work to build a just society where all people can live to their full potential by partnering with the community to support those in need and working to change policies, practices, ideas and values that perpetuate inequality, prejudice and exclusion. </p><p><b>About the program </b></p><p>Navigator is a program funded by the Department of Education and Training (DET) which aims to support disengaged learners aged 12 to 17 years old to re-engage with an education or training pathway. </p><p>Jesuit Social Services deliver the Program in the Hume/Moreland, Brimbank/Melton, North East Melbourne and Inner East Melbourne Areas, in partnership with the Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA), local schools and services, and the regional Department of Education and Training offices. </p><p><b>About the role </b></p><p>A new opportunity has been created for a suitably experienced and qualified individual to take on the role of Manager, Navigator. Sitting in the Justice portfolio and working closely with your peers and the General Manager Justice Programs, the role will be responsible for oversight and leadership of the program, high quality services, strategic development, relationship management and managing resources and budgets. </p><p>An expert knowledge and understanding of the education system along with tertiary qualification/s and experience in the provision of services to vulnerable children, young people, families and communities is essential. </p><p>The position will be based in Brunswick with travel to other Jesuit Social Services offices and locations as required.
