An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of Rowing to join one of the best school rowing programs in Canberra

<p><b>3 years Fixed Term (negotiable), Full-time </b></p><p>Suitably experienced and qualified applicants are invited to apply for this 3-year fixed term (negotiable) full-time Head of Rowing, commencing in September 2022. </p><p><b>The opportunity </b></p><p>An amazing opportunity has arisen within the Sports Department team be a part of a highly successful rowing program. The successful candidate will be required to lead and manage all aspects of the Radford College Rowing Program with vision and energy, while reporting to the Head of Sport. </p><p><b>About the role </b></p><p>The Head of Rowing is responsible for delivering an engaging, challenging, and inclusive Radford Rowing Program where students can develop a life-long passion for rowing. This also includes, but is not limited to: </p><p>• being responsible for all management, planning, coordination, administration, and boat shed duties required to run a successful program </p><p>• overseeing and supervising all aspects of the coaching, training, and selection processes, </p><p>• the preparation, support, and supervision at all regattas along with pastoral care and student wellbeing. </p><p><b>Working at Radford College </b></p><p>At Radford, we believe that the key to higher performing students is the effectiveness of their teachers, and that the key to effective teachers is the support they receive which enables them to perform their roles. Demonstrated accountability, delivery of outcomes and a solid understanding school rowing environments with extensive experience leading teams of coaches. Be familiar with and have the capabilities to manage the fast-paced, high workload that comes with running a school rowing program and boatshed. </p><p>They will be a confident self-starter, well organised, possess excellent communication skills and enjoys building relationships with multiple stakeholders both inside and outside of the College.
